Sydney Celebrant Geoff Stanwell

Geoff Stanwell - CelebrantI was educated at North Sydney Boys High School in the 60s, did the Personnel Administration Certificate at TAFE, and subsequently undertook the examinations of the Barristers Admission Board in the 80s. I have been a Justice of the Peace since 1972.

I graduated as an officer in Military Police and have the Australian Defence Medal.  I am an active member of Forestville RSL Sub-Branch and Forest Men’s Shed.  As well as being involved with several business organisations, I am a softball umpire and soccer referee.

I worked in insurance for several years then became a factual investigator in 1973, operating my own business for 30+ years, that also involved work for the government. In recent years, I completed several courses at Australian Film Television & Radio School and have been engaged in radio and television from 2005.

I sit on the board and present the Wednesday Drive Show of  North Shore’s FM99.3.
